Tired of the 'Tuck up and Hope' kayaking strategy? Want to learn to actually feel in control of your boat on steep terrain?

We have put together a progressive program which will build on core skills for advanced whitewater and have you working towards nailing stylish lines on challenging whitewater such as waterfalls, slides, and pushy, technical rapids. As with all our courses, you'll receive cutting edge coaching and personalised feedback to help you achieve your personal whitewater goals!

Example Itinerary:

We'll meet you at a pre-arranged location and have a quick discussion about your goals and make a plan for how to achieve them. We will head out to an appropriate river section and begin our two days of whitewater challenges and development. Here's what we plan to cover, at the minimum.
- Driving your boat with consistency.

- Keeping a strong body shape.
- The Boof Stroke.
- Dealing with Slides.

- Planning techniques for long rapids.

- Controlling your nerves.

- Security on steep ground.

We can analyse any photo or video that we might have taken during the time on the water.

Who's this trip for?

To get the most from this trip you should be a regular grade 3/4 paddler with a confident whitewater roll, looking for technique coaching and ready to step it up to running steeper terrain. You should be reasonably fit, able to take on two full and challenging days of whitewater kayaking.

"I and 4 others went on the two day Boofs, Slides & Drops course. We had a brilliant time, with Jamie and Jonny giving us detailed and thorough coaching throughout. They helped us to improve our fundamental paddling skills, while also giving us an immediate opportunity to put those to the test in some challenging rivers."
